The Buddhist temple area and popular tourist site on Mount Wutai, in Shanxi province, put on a drill for an emergency evacuation in case of a terrorist attack at Middle School No.2, on Mar 31,as part of Campus Safety Day.

The event was arranged by the local public security and education bureaus to help make police work more efficient at its anti-terrorism command center, with faster communications and police deployment and to increase children's awareness of how to defend themselves against violence and to reduce the casualties in case of a violent terrorist incident.
