Jilin will be their home for the next three years, in the 500,000-sq-m park, also a wildlife research center and a part of the city's national AAAAA forest park, which combines ecology, tourism, and wildlife science teaching, and also houses free-roaming Siberian tigers, an endangered species.
After the pair got settled in, they got a physical examination, for disease prevention and quarantine purposes by park veterinarians and their keepers from back home. They will be introduced to the public on July 1.
