Ties 'unaffected by Japan's political change'

TOKYO: Japanese politicians from different parties have assured China that the bilateral relationship will not be affected by changes in their domestic politics, a senior Chinese official said yesterday.

The forum is of great significance to recognize the past, grasp the present and think about the future, State Councilor Dai Bingguo speaks highly of Beijing-Tokyo Forum.

Zhu Ling, editor-in-chief of China Daily, said at the forum that more efforts are needed to keep warming up China-Japan relations.
